AI comes to banking with a promise of automation of complex tasks, deeper insights and cost savings. While AI is often applied to customer service (assistants, recommenders), the technology is probably most mature in the fraud detection and prevention domain.
We will make the case that applying AI to AML can yield a fast ROI but also benefit the bank in more than just the financial aspect.

Has 12 years of industry experience. He participated in the R&D projects and implementation of large IT systems in the areas of trading and wealth management, working for the financial institutions from around the world. On daily basis he focuses on expanding the product offer in the Comarch financial sector, working with the latest technologies such as machine learning, augmented reality or blockchain.
Sylwia Hans Financial Services Director, Comarch Inc.Sylwia Hans is Financial Services Director for Comarch US. She has been working in the industry since 2009 when she joined Comarch’s start up project iFIN24 – one of the first personal finance management systems for banks on the market. She has worked on international banking projects as a consultant, creating a new vision of the PFM. She currently specializes in business banking and wealth management solutions dedicated for banking.
Saad Altaf Financial Services Business Development ManagerSaad Altaf is Financial Services Business Development Manager. He began his career at JP Morgan, where he worked in the Strategic Initiatives group, collaborating closely with executive management in the delivery of Roadmap Program – enhancing the firm’s existing technology infrastructure across Finance and Risk functions. He joined the team at Comarch USA in August 2018 to merge his passion for Business Development and Finance
