Pierre Devolder Professor of Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science at UCLouvainPierre Devolder is professor of mathematical finance and actuarial science at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) (Institute of Statistics, Biostatistics and Actuarial Science, ISBA/LIDAM). He has a PhD in mathematics from the University of Brussels. He is also actuary and academic member of the Belgian Institute of actuaries (IABE). His main research activities are focused on stochastic finance, life insurance and pension theory. He has published 6 books mainly on pension and finance and a lot of papers in various actuarial journals. He gives regular courses at the universities of Brussels and Rabat. He has been member of the official Belgian “Conseil Académique des Pensions” and is founding partner and chairman of the board of REACFIN (actuarial consulting company).
HOST - Laurent Feiner Founder and CEO at DECAVILaurent Feiner is founder and CEO of DECAVI, a leading Belgian insurance research and events organization. He has over 30 years of experience as a journalist specializing in the insurance sector and plays a key role in shaping the insurance landscape in Belgium. Laurent organizes DECAVI’s insurance breakfasts, the DECAVI Trophées de l’Assurance Vie and Non-Vie, and targeted seminars for insurers. He also oversees the publication of DECAVI’s monthly newsletters, Lettre Vie and Lettre Dommages, providing market insights on life and non-life insurance products. Through these activities, Laurent has become a key authority and trusted voice in the Belgian insurance market.
