David specializes in evaluating and addressing intricate business challenges and process enhancements that extend across functional departments, disciplines, and systems. David has over 35 years of experience in IT and utility operations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. During his career at PG&E, David served in several capacities including utility capital improvements project manager, division support service manager, manager of IT infrastructure project delivery, manager of IT application project delivery Center of Excellence, and chief of staff to the vice president of IT infrastructure operations, driving cross department planning, budgeting, and process improvement. David retired in 2018 as a chief solution engineer. In 2020, David was appointed as the principal project manager to deliver PG&E’s Operations Support System - Telecom Network Portal Project, a complex, multi-year effort. Additionally, this year David was appointed as the change management leader for PG&E’s Electric Vehicles Socket of the Future Project. David served 5 years with the United States Naval Mobile Construction Forces (Seabees) with deployments in the US Pacific Territory and the British Indian Ocean Territory.

In Comarch since 2003, starting as a programmer in various projects. After 2 years, he moved to the area of the insurance industry, which he has been developing for over the last 17 years.

Having been in software development, project management and consulting for top banks, Maciej has acquired over 10 years of international experience in technology and business alike, which allow him to provide uniquely insightful solutions to problems faced by modern financial institutions.

Luke is a Director with Alvarez and Marsal. He has been focusing on tax technology since 2012. He has held multiple positions across Europe and the Middle East and is an e-Invoicing and VAT technologies SME. Luke is a tax technologist that specializes in global e-Invoicing compliance, finance/tax transformation, VAT determination and compliance. He is a functional specialist that predominantly focusses on requirements gathering and process reengineering for technology projects. Luke has spent the previous three years supporting KSA e-Invoicing implementations, including SAP DRC, Edicom and Pagero. He also has extensive experience in finance and technology transformations, including SAP S4HANA. While his predominant focus are private clients, he has previously supported a Middle Eastern Tax Authority’s SAP Tax and Revenue Management (TRM) implementation.

Igor is a licensed tax advisor (No. 14904) with extensive experience in the field of tax advisory. Igor specializes in value-added tax (VAT). His expertise includes advising multinational corporations on complex tax structures and compliance issues. Additionally, he handles international and corporate taxation, providing comprehensive solutions to clients. Igor is committed to staying updated with the latest tax regulations and practices, ensuring clients receive the most accurate and effective advice. His dedication to client satisfaction and professional excellence makes him a valuable asset to the BDO team. He holds a master’s degree in law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

Emilia is a licensed tax advisor (No. 12575) with extensive experience gained in leading audit and tax advisory firms, as well as in-house within the oil and gas industry. She specializes in value-added tax (VAT), while also advising on corporate income tax, civil law transaction tax, and cross-border tax issues. Known for her strong analytical skills and precision, she is dedicated to delivering high-quality client services through clear and transparent communication. Emilia regularly conducts training sessions and speaks at tax conferences. She is also a published author in leading Polish tax journals, including Rzeczpospolita and Rachunkowość. She holds a master’s degree in law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and completed postgraduate studies in Accounting at the Poznań University of Economics.

Olivia Wasniewski has over a decade of experience at SAS Scandinavian Airlines, where she has held key roles across Loyalty, Product Development, Revenue Management, and Strategy. Prior to joining SAS, she worked as a strategy consultant. She holds a Master of Science in International Business and in Finance, after studies at the Stockholm School of Economics, SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Rotterdam School of Management. Olivia is passionate about consumer psychology and the transformative potential of loyalty programs to create value across the entire business ecosystem — benefiting the company, its customers, partners, and the broader world.

Bartłomiej Wójtowicz is the Head of Comarch's Data Exchange & Document Management Consulting Team and a business automation expert, who has over 15 years of experience in helping companies go digital and optimize their key processes. He was previously responsible for product development in the area of B2B Network and electronic invoicing.
